Life is like a box of chocolates

Hi,
How are you? How easy is it to find 5 minutes in your day?
How crowded is your life with things that just appear as 'white noise'?
I was having an indulgent moment a week ago with a tub of chocolates. You know the ones. Round tub with miniature chocolate inside! As I looked for my favourite treat (a Twix) I realised that all the other bars were just getting in the way and taking up space. It came to me in that moment that is exactly how I see life. We want to focus on the one thing, for example time with children (Twix) and we keep putting our hand in and pulling out Milky bars (work time) or a Bounty (social media time) all of which makes life over complicated and steals energy from us.
Are we struggling to say NO to things and people (do we have an overwhelming desire now as we are emerging from lockdown to say YES to everything)?
So, as we all adjust to the new ways of life in these current times, I want to check in and ask do you find yourself trying to balance time...
Partner -time to connect
Parent - checking in, seeing them
Children - school, play, connection
Work - workloads, pressure, morale
Travel -adjusting to pace post-covid
Social Media - FOMO
Life Admin- shopping, cooking
Study - development, revision
Career -CV, right fit, right place
Friends - be there for them
Ext. Family- check in and support
Fun - game nights, cinema, meals out
Physical Health- Gym, running, yoga
Mental Health -spa, beach, nature
Fur Baby - playing with the cat, dog
It's important to face into the fact you cannot do it all. The noise of life will have you dropping the ball, acting out of guilt rather than pleasure, and getting extra tired and frustrated. You become a different person and it's hard to stop the cycle once you are in it.

The step change is to reframe and simplify your life...
Ask yourself what's important, no, I mean really important...

The list can go on, but for now which three things are the most important to you?
No judgement we all have our reasons for aspiring to our own aspirations, just keep it real to you.
For the rest of the month focus on saying NO to anything that does not align or fit within those three areas.
It will be hard to do this. You will get it wrong and start to clutter your life back up. For that reason alone, I suggest you reach out to me so we can work together.
As your life coach I can support, coach, motivate, and help mentor you in calming your mind and simplifying your life. Making it more centred.
