It's Not What you Do, It's the Way that you Do It - That's what Get's Results....

As we move from this year into next, I wanted to take a moment and reflect on the year that has been.

I have had the greatest of privileges in collaborating with wonderful clients in the last 12 months. All of whom have shown me the true meaning of courage. They have allowed me to walk by their side in 2021 and celebrate with them in their triumphs. They also let me in to quietly listen as they worked through their darkest of times. Everyone has shown determination and focus. It has been inspirational on so many levels.

So regardless of how you are going to spend 2022, take time out and grab a pen to capture your journey in 2021….

What is your proudest moment of 2021?

What did you learn about yourself this year?

How would people describe you in 2021?

What three words would you like them to be saying?

How would you like 2022 to unfold?

If you could not fail, what would you do in 2022?

How could you simplify life in 2022?

If you could learn one skill in 2022, what would you pick and why?

Who do you need to help and support you in 2022?

I asked some of my clients to reflect on how 2021 has been collaborating with me as their life coach and here are their experiences…

“I have found working with you a massive step forward into helping manage and overcome my anxiety,

through various methods and styles. It has really made me believe I can deal with it in the future, and I look forward to what I can achieve in 2022” – West Midlands

“There’s something about Jo that activates your curiosity about yourself and gives you the guts to do something about what’s not right in your life. Everything from the niggling thoughts that keep you up at night to the big S” £T that life throws at you. Jo has been there at my side helping me to steer my way through.” – London

“I was lucky to find Jo when I did, she’s helped me stay sane in the tough times and thrive in the good times” – London

“I don’t think you (Jo) will ever truly realize what an amazing person you are” – Birmingham

“Thank you so much for your support this year" – West Midlands

"Jo has been the guidance to me when I 've needed her the most. She has supported me with making the decision to leave a toxic work environment. Jo gave me the confidence to study and also work alongside it. Jo has always been quick to respond to messages and will communicate between sessions. She is very down to earth and easy to talk to. I would highly recommend her" - Vicky

“Thank you very much for all your help in 2021” – Bristol

“Jo has helped me to really learn who I am, what makes me truly happy and to realise and go after what I truly want. Whilst not easy, Jo has been there every step of the way with support, guidance, and a totally safe place to share everything I needed too.” - Claire

Remember to look back is a wonderful way to reflect but to get stuck looking at the past could fill you with sadness.

To look forward into the future is sensible, but to keep thinking about the future can fill you will anxiety.

Take three or four deep breaths (health allowing) and centre yourself, allowing you to see and be in the present. That is all you need.

To be fully present to see and hear what is going on around you, to capture the memories in real time and to appreciate the gift of now.

So, give yourself the best gift of all, let go of yesterday it has happened, forget about tomorrow it will be here soon enough and be in the now - give yourself the present (no one else can package this for you).

Whatever 2022 offers you, I wish you well and know you do not have to face it alone. If you would like to be feeling like my clients are feeling, then just reach out.....

Remember it’s not what you do it’s the way that you do it…. Now that’s what gets results
